Join the Portland International Airport and Hood to Coast Race Series in a one-of-a-kind opportunity to run or walk on PDX’s north runway.
The PDX Runway Run is Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, and is a part of the year-long celebration of Portland International Airport’s 75th anniversary. The race is 6K, from one end of the north runway to the other end, and back. Register now; participants are limited to 2,500.
All proceeds from the PDX Runway Run will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland Metropolitan Area and enable local youth to become productive, caring, responsible citizens. Boys & Girls Clubs are located in underserved communities and are uniquely equipped to provide enrichment programs to youth while empowering them with a sense of belonging and security.
Hood to Coast Race Series is managing the race registration, event management, and administration. Registration includes a finisher medal, participant tech t-shirt, refreshments, partner village, PDX educational displays, and exclusive access to the north runway. This is a timed event with awards given out to the top finishing participants.
