Over the summer, our Clubs are open all day, 7:30am-6pm, to serve the needs of youth and families in our communities. There are plenty of summer volunteer opportunities for you to get involved!
Opportunities include:
Mission Support
As a mission support volunteer, you’ll commit to weekly times to help empower youth in program areas as needed, including sports, arts, STEM activities, the games room, and more!
Brain Gain
Help curb summer learning loss and keep kids ready to go back to school in the fall. You’ll help set up for learning activities and engage students in fun themed activities each week.
Summer Brain Gain is comprised of one-week modules with fun, themed activities for elementary school and middle school that are aligned with common core standards. Each module takes a project-based learning approach: youth engage in a process of learning through discovery, creative expression, group work and a final project or production. As a result, kids develop higher-order thinking skills through the Summer Brain Gain modules while staying on track for the coming school year.
Kids Café
Have a food handler’s card, and love to cook? Assist staff in preparing and serving healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for youth in our community. Food prep shifts run 10am-12pm, with food service starting at noon.
Teen Field Trip Chaperone
Love adventure? We need fun, friendly folks to accompany 7th-12th graders on a series of Thursday field trips. These might include college visits, outdoor activities, museums, tours, or other interactive opportunities. Teen field trip support is needed at Inukai, Regence, and Rockwood over the summer.
Event Support
Help out at a Club event! Volunteers are often needed to assist with Family Nights, fundraisers, and more.
Club Beautification
With over 100 youth coming in and out of our buildings every day, Clubs can take a lot of wear and tear. Beautification projects help us spruce up the inside or outside of our buildings, and are great for groups of friends or coworkers!
