Water Testing at the Clubs

Given the recent findings of unhealthy lead levels in local community water sources, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland Metro recently completed a thorough testing process at its six Clubhouses.  The organization tested the water in all Club kitchens, restrooms, and drinking fountains, and can report that findings at all locations proved negative for being at, or over, the EPA’s action level based on the federal limit of 15 parts per billion.

Clubs tested included the Wattles Club in southeast Portland; the Blazers Club in Portland’s NE King neighborhood; the Inukai Family Club in Hillsboro; the Jack, Will, & Rob Club in Camas, Washington; the Regence Club in north Portland’s New Columbia community, and our former Meyer Club in Sellwood.  Periodic testing will continue to ensure we maintain safe and healthy water in all of our Clubhouses for our members and the community.
