About Boys & Girls Club AmeriCorps

Boys & Girls Clubs of Oregon’s STEM Connect AmeriCorps Program is designed to support youth academic success and strengthen partnerships between schools and Boys & Girls Clubs across Oregon.  AmeriCorps members serve an 11-month term in a combination of classroom and Club settings, recruit mentors for youth, and support efforts to prevent summer learning loss.  STEM Connect gives AmeriCorps members the chance to serve youth in the Club community while gaining valuable skills and experience in the youth development and education fields.
